Noise-pop darlings Sleigh Bells are back in the studio, says Pitchfork

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller say that they plan to start recording the new record in June, with plans to release it early next year. Miller said of the new songs, “Emotionally, it’s a really heavy record…Some of [Treats] you could consider party music. That’s definitely not the case with this one.” Krauss says, “It sounds really huge, so there’s going to still be tons of volume.” Also, at the end of the interview, he half-jokingly suggests that there’ll be “lots of punches in the face”, which sounds painful…
