February 4, 2011 Film Reviews

5 out of 5 stars

It’s fun. It’s funny. It’s heartwarming. It’s interesting. Once again Pixar and Disney deliver a complete animated adventure. But beyond the laughs and novelty of a world populated by toys is a wonderful movie about love and commitment.

Don’t be mistaken, Toy Story 3 is not a movie aiming for solely entertainment value. In the Toy Story franchise the creators are making true film. From lessons of loyalty to adult-targeted humor regarding a metrosexual Ken doll, Toy Story 3 has got it covered. The opening sequence features an action-adventure playtime brought to life and the climax shows a band of friends united as they stare death in the face. Viewers get all the colors of the emotional rainbow in this one.

A must see for all ages this third installment is a great way to spend two hours. You’ll be delighted by this tale; they call it Toy Story for a reason.
